Who is behind Lotus Beauty?

I want to give you a warm welcome to my page. I cannot be more grateful that you are here with me. My name is Suhainy, born and raised on the beautiful island of Curacao, known as the pearl of the Caribbean. From a very young age I was introduced to the world of beauty. My mother and grandmother have always been the stunners of the family, they take the time to invest in their appearance. And of course, I continue the tradition. Growing up as a young girl, I was passionate about makeup and skincare. Every weekend was spa time for me, since I was taking the time to pimp my self up for a lovely week ahead. I first started experimenting with resources from my own kitchen. Later when I arrived for my studies in the Netherlands, I was introduced to handcrafted skincare ingredients and started my endeavour to develop my own products. After numerous efforts and feedback, I decided to read more books and follow courses about skincare to level my skills up.

The name: Lotus Beauty for you

While searching the name of my brand, I wanted it to add meaning to the skincare line. I wanted the name to portray female beauty in so many ways. After long consideration, the name Lotus popped up with the word beauty matching it perfectly. Lotus is a well known flower in eastern cultures, yet it might not be the first one to come in mind whan talking about beauty. However, the choice of it holds a deeper meaning. This flower has an unlikely life cycle, it submerges every night into the river and re-blooms the next morning. This process is associated with rebirth and spirituality. Our skin, just like our lives, also go through cycles. It is one of the largest organs and should be taken care of properly. Lotus Beauty is here to help you achieve this.
